  • Once there was a Cigar Box (dir. Alexander Conrads / 10 min.)
    Matt Isbell, a Blues-musician fomr Memphis, Tennessee, does something most people can only dream of: He makes a living from doing something he loves. To be more precise, he takes old cigar boxes and breathes new life into them by turning then into beautiful guitars. 
  • Untold Stories (dir. Shane Watson / 9 min.)
    Every time a black person is murdred because someone feared him/her, the media reports two different stories. One story will soeak on how much of an angel the deceased was and the other will talk about how much of a thug/criminal the person was. However, we never get the true story of the deceased because s/he cannot tell his/her own story. 
  • No One Sees You (dir. Emily Heine / 20 min.)
    What is the difference between art and vadalism? This short documentary film explores the complex tension between graffiti and public art in Memphis - and the artists that no one sees.
  • Sketches of Crosstown (dir. MJ Adams / 25 min.)
    In 2011, Sean Murphy (Memphis-based multi-instrumentalist and instrument maker) began recording an improvisational album in the abandoned Sears Crosstown building, which is noted for having seven full seconds of delay. The building's decaying otherworldly environment has fired Memphians' imagination for years. Dripping water, car horns, and synchronistic traffic sounds are mixed with tuba, flutes, didgeridoo, and other instruments. 
  • Geekland: Fan Culture In Memphis (dir. Lara Johnson / 30 min.)
    Geekland is a short documentary film exploring the struggles of being a geek/nerd/fan in the South. It showcases several differnt groups in Memphis, TN that encourage geeks to pursue their interests and gives them a place to feel at home.
